Our House

A family house deeply rooted in Vandeuil since 1956.
Vine-growing and winemaking patiently passed down, blending passion, nature, and expertise.

A family story, deeply rooted in Vandeuil since 1956

Maison Fournaise began in Vandeuil with Agnès and François, who laid the foundation of what would become a family adventure.

Today, the second generation carries the torch, working hand in hand with the third to uphold tradition while looking toward the future.

This connection between generations, this shared dedication, is what gives our champagne its sincerity.

Four faces behind every bottle

Hervé

Son of Agnès and François, Hervé represents the second generation of our house.

He has always cared for the vines, overseen the winemaking, and attended fairs with the same dedication to the land as his parents.
Hervé preserves the traditions handed down to him and gladly shares his expertise with those eager to learn about champagne.

A discreet yet essential conductor, he coordinates the seasons, the team, and key decisions both in the vineyard and the cellar.

In the vineyards, the cellar, or behind a stand, he’s simultaneously living memory, meticulous technician, and daily ambassador.

Céline

Céline is often the first face, or voice, you encounter when contacting the house.

She manages orders, email and phone communications, and warmly welcomes visitors at various fairs.

She’s behind most of the messages you receive: newsletters, order confirmations, handwritten notes…

Céline ensures smooth administrative operations while maintaining the direct, personable connection that defines CH Fournaise.

Maxime

Maxime embodies the third generation in action.

Gradually taking over Hervé’s role in the vineyards, he’s deeply involved in soil work, machinery maintenance, and daily vineyard decisions.

From tractors to pruning and planting, he knows every tool and parcel, continually learning from hands-on experience.

Grounded and practical, Maxime contributes to evolving the house while staying true to its roots.

Anne-Emeline

Recently joining the family adventure, Anne-Emeline is actively involved in seasonal vineyard work.

She also meticulously labels bottles and prepares orders.

Always ready to lend a hand, she helps keep the house running smoothly behind the scenes.

A reliable and dedicated presence, working closely with the land.

Our daily commitments

Every day in our vineyards, we pay special attention to our environment.

Between eco-grazing with Ouessant sheep, mechanical weed control, organic trials, and certifications like HVE & VDC, our commitments are practical, progressive, and within our reach.

No grand statements, just thoughtful actions that respect the soil, natural cycles, and the community around us.

A unique terroir, three emblematic grape varieties

Our vines grow on the slopes of Vandeuil, in the northern part of Montagne de Reims.

This clay-limestone terroir imparts depth and freshness to the grapes.

We cultivate the three classic Champagne grapes: Meunier for its suppleness, Pinot Noir for structure, and Chardonnay for finesse.

Each cuvée reflects an aspect of this landscape, carefully nurtured generation after generation.
